• Go to settings from your HubSpot account> locate and go to the Website option on the left panel

To change blog templates follow these steps:

• Go to the Current View option > From the drop-down select the theme you want to use.
  
  

• Now select the blog listing page and click on the edit page to continue editing the existing blog template. Select the module through from drag and drop method and apply changes.

To edit theme settings 

• On the left sidebar of the screen, from the edit page option, there are 3 options, add, contents and theme.   
• Click Theme, and you’ll see an Edit Theme Settings button. Click ‘Edit Theme Settings’ to make global changes to the theme.
  
  

You can also edit theme settings for any theme by navigating to the settings option > website > themes > select any theme > click view theme > Edit theme settings will appear. After reaching the edit theme settings page, you can change the theme settings in a simple way. The following options are available in most of the HubSpot themes:

Note: What you change here will affect all of the pages and assets.  

You can make changes in the following global styles:

    1. Global Colors

Global colors change universally everywhere on the theme as you set them. You can alter the primary and secondary colors, body backgrounds, and heading colors. 

    2. Global Fonts

Similar to global colors, you can set a universal font that will be applied all over your website pages. You can change the heading and body font.

    3. Spacing

Spacing is a part of HubSpot theme settings to set spaces between elements on your website pages. You can edit the vertical spacing and maximum content width.

   4. Typography

Under the typography option of HubSpot theme settings, you have options to change the font of different headings, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, etc. You can also change the line height, letter spacing, and font for desktop and mobile devices.

You can also change the color of links for both desktop and mobile.  

    5. Buttons

You can edit button text, line height, text transformation on the button, and change spacing and padding around each button on your website. You can also change the text background and border of the hover, normal, and active button. 

    6. Forms

You can edit the form titles, labels, help text, fields, forms background color, desktop spacing, mobile padding, border style, corner radius, font, spacing and padding of error messages, etc.

    7. Tables

You can change the text color, and background color of your table header, table body, table footer, and table cells.

   8. Website Header

From the website header option, you can change the background color and edit the menu. The menu option includes changing the font, line height, and text transformation for mobile and desktop devices. 

    9. Website Footer

Website footer and header are an important element of HubSpot theme settings. You can edit the footer background color, font, line height, and text transformation for mobile and desktop.

  10. Blog settings

Under the blog setting, you can enable the sidebar, widget, popular topics, and subscription form.

Under the blog post option, you can enable to show the author’s name, timestamp, tags, and related posts, and edit the border radius of corners. 

    11. System Page Settings

From the system page settings, you can enable the error page image, and edit the banner image, alt text, and image loading of the error pages like error 404, error 500, email unsubscribe, and password prompt.

    12. Scroll to Top

The scroll-to-top option allows you to enable this scroll-to-the-top feature, set icon fill color, icon background color, and icon corner radius.

Theme Modules

Theme Template

• After creating a page you can edit both the header and footer from the contents tab of the edit page option.
• Select website header/ footer. Whatever you want to edit.
  
  
• Select open in global content editor when prompted. Subsequently, you can edit global modules.    

Headers are the topmost HubSpot global modules of webpages.

• Under the content tab of the website header option you will find the following options:

From the logo option, you can enable a custom logo, replace or remove the current logo, set alt text, image loading, etc. 

Under the custom, the menu changes the theme header and set the maximum levels that determine the number of menu tree children that can be expanded in the menu. 

From the header toggler, you can replace/remove an icon or image, alt text, and image loading for the toggler open and toggler close option.   

Website Footer 

Footers are the bottommost HubSpot global modules on webpages.

• From the website footer, you can edit multiple options as the theme provides, Logo, Social Follow Label, Social Links, Navigation, Icon Box, Copyright, address, footer navigation, icon box, menu title, etc.
  

The logo has similar options as in the website header like enable logo, remove or replace the logo image.

From social links and social follow labels you can add your social media links to your footer. Social links HubSpot global modules help in branding of your business.

From the icon box, you can add up to 3 columns, select image/icon, and enable box-shadow. 

The footer navigation option can allow you to add your company title, choose the menu, and set maximum levels.

The Copyright is a HubSpot global module that can add copyright text to your website footer including the privacy policy and terms and conditions links.

To create page with HubSpot theme, you can use a page template and customize it accordingly. Follow these steps:

• Log in to your HubSpot account through the HubSpot portal. Go to Marketing > Website > Website Pages.
  
  

• A Create button can be found in the top right corner. Click Create. Select the sort of page you want to create by clicking on it. Website pages, landing pages, and blogs are all options.
  
  
• After you’ve chosen the page type, name the page > Click Create Page.
  

• Now choose the theme you want to work with > choose a template > Click Select Template.
  
  

• After you’ve chosen a template, you can create page successfully. You can now add or remove modules by the drag and drop method as needed. Add meta descriptions, page titles, and other required information, before publishing the page. A page title is necessary before publishing a page.

Install HubSpot Theme  

• Log in to your HubSpot portal. Navigate to the marketplace icon > Select Asset Marketplace. Here you can find HubSpot CMS themes, modules, and templates for your website. 
  

• Install/Buy the theme. You get two options, to set it as your active theme and start building your site and to set it as your active theme and edit theme settings. Choose either and start editing theme settings.  
  
  

Change Theme or Upload HubSpot CMS Themes

Changing or uploading HubSpot CMS themes is pretty simple. If you want to change your current theme, 

• Start by creating a website page. Go to Marketing > Website > Website Pages
• Click on Create option to create a page > Name it
• On the choose template page, select themes dropdown > select Change theme 
• All downloaded themes will be listed down. You can select either of them or upload a HubSpot theme from the Envato Marketplace.
• Click Install a theme from ThemeForest on the right top corner. 
• Insert the code and click install theme.
  
  

• To complete the installation procedure, sign in to the ThemeForest Marketplace on Envato in the new tab.
• When you successfully log in, HubSpot will display a banner. Your HubSpot CMS theme might not be accessible right away.
