• Open the Automated Coupons app.
• Navigate to the Coupon Rules tab from the main menu.

• Then, choose the coupon rule you wish to update.

• Click on the ellipsis menu (three dot) on the right of the respective coupon rule.
• Then, you’ll be redirected to the coupon rule edit page. There, you can redefine Coupon Format, Coupon Expiry, Products, Coupon Usage, Expiry and everything.
• Once done, click Save.

• Go to the Automated Coupon app and make sure you’re logged in.

• Navigate to the Coupons tab from the main menu (or the above tabs).
• On the next page, you will be able to view all the coupons generated and used with Coupon Name, Rule Name, Expiry, and Date of Coupon Creation.

The Merge Fields option gives you the ability to personalize the coupon. Using this, the coupon can include the first or last name of your customer or the email address of the customer.

Furthermore, Prefixes and Suffixes can be used to serve personalization as per the event. If the coupon is for a new customer, you enter FIRST as a suffix, or if the discount is for another occasion you can choose the characters accordingly.

Say, you’re creating a coupon for a 20% discount for your Christmas campaigns.

Put NEW in Prefix and 20 for Suffix. To personalize this coupon for your customers, you add their first/last name to the coupon.

One more way to set expiry is by choosing the relative option. Choose Relative and you just have to enter the number of days after which the coupon will expire.

Follow the steps below to create automated coupons for Newsletter signups –

• • Create coupon rules. (Refer to the product documentation to know how to create coupon rules.) Make sure that your offered discount is lucrative enough for the viewer to signup for your newsletter.
  • Create and setup the email automation on your HubSpot portal. You can use personalized tokes when creating an email to add the coupon code property and the expiration period.
    
     

• Now, create the HubSpot workflow. We recommend creating a contact-based workflow to gather all your subscribers’ data into the contact properties.

• Add the triggers to your workflow like the Form Submission type and ensure you select the same form that you have used for the Newsletter signup.
  
• Next, set action – Create a Coupon. And select the already define coupon rule here.

• Now, set the next action as to send emails. In this part of the workflow, ensure that you add the same email template that you created earlier with the contact-based workflow and coupon code properties. 

And, you’re all set to send out coupon codes via email for every Newsletter Signup action performed.

To see your account and billing history, you can:

• Login to the Automated Coupons by the MakeWebBetter app portal.
• Navigate to User Accounts from the left side panel.
• Click on the Billing tab on that page and you’ll see your billing history there.

If you have not renewed your subscription or haven’t made any transactions, you won’t see anything there.
