How do I track the coupon usage from the app itself?

You get in-app tracking for coupon usage and monitor all the coupons generated from the app or HubSpot CRM Card.

Go to the Automated Coupon app and make sure you’re logged in.

Navigate to the Coupons tab from the main menu (or the above tabs).
On the next page, you will be able to view all the coupons generated and used with Coupon Name, Rule Name, Expiry, and Date of Coupon Creation.
You can also view coupon usage under respective contacts in your HubSpot account.

The Automated Coupons app is designed to attend the need for personalized marketing. It also serves the idea of personalized coupons.

The Merge Fields option gives you the ability to personalize the coupon. Using this, the coupon can include the first or last name of your customer or the email address of the customer.

Furthermore, Prefixes and Suffixes can be used to serve personalization as per the event. If the coupon is for a new customer, you enter FIRST as a suffix, or if the discount is for another occasion you can choose the characters accordingly.

Say, you’re creating a coupon for a 20% discount for your Christmas campaigns.

Put NEW in Prefix and 20 for Suffix. To personalize this coupon for your customers, you add their first/last name to the coupon.

The generated coupon will contain — XMAS as a prefix, the Customer’s First Name in the middle, an autogenerated text (to avoid duplication of the coupons), and lastly 20 as a suffix.

How do I create a coupon code in HubSpot for particular contacts?

To access the option to create coupons from HubSpot, you would need to connect your HubSpot account and your WooCommerce store to the Automated Coupons app.

Once done, follow these steps to generate a unique coupon code for your contact:

Go to your HubSpot account and navigate to Contacts from the main menu.
There, find and click on the respective contact that you want a coupon for.

On the next page, find and click on the MWB Create Coupon option which you’ll be able to see in the CRM Cards section on the right of your contact.
Click Create Coupon.
Select your WooCommerce store from the drop-down you want to create a coupon for.

Then, fill in the following fields.
- Type in the coupon code.
- Select the discount type (flat or percentage).
- Type the coupon value.
- Choose Always Active, for the customer to avail of coupons for every purchase.
- Select the Expires At, then select an expiration date. Or select Relative (no. of days for which the coupon will be active).
- Select Products to which the coupon will be applicable to claim a discount. Or choose Entire Store eligible for the coupon discount.
- Also, you can Exclude Products that you don’t want to product discount for.
- Lastly, select coupon Usage Limit.
Once done, click Create New Coupon button.

This coupon will be available to the respective contact. You can intimate the contact for the same by creating an email workflow every time a new coupon is created.
